Okay, so Randomous is having problems deciding on what to do with the chat.
In case you haven't been here in the last day or so, Random shut down the site because of the stress of the people on chat getting to them. But people started sending him emails and trying to contact them, and eventually he decided he didn't have a right to destroy the community, so he put the site back up, but disabled chat.
Now, he's trying to think of options. The most popular 4 are:
A) Bring back the old chat, make IRC relay system
B) Use the freenode.net IRC channel (#smilebasic) and remove the chat here.
C) Rewrite old chat to work through IRC
Of course, there are people that don't like these ideas. If anyone prefers an option, or has a good option, post here!
By the way, I'm doing this without the contacting of Random. If he wants me to take this down, I will.
