what do you mean calm down, that was a polite requestCan somebody make it work on New 3DS Family systems?Do you realize how much work they've put into the new site? It would be a huge pain to completely rewrite parts of the site just so that it works on a dated (and rather broken) 3DS browser. Maybe they'll release a High Compat mode for the new site someday. In the meantime, calm down. The new site itself isn't even finished, let alone a 3DS-compatible mode.

Hey all! I'm MasterR3C0RD, your friendly neighborhood cybersec nerd. Anyone who has joined chat has definitely spoken with me before, and I've talked to a few of you in DMs. You probably also know of my project, SBAPI, at the very least.
I've been here since the Wikia days as well, same as Random and Y. 13-year-old Record (AKA ShadowCX11) was quite an interesting person, but even then, I was still passionate about programming. Petit Computer was what got me head-over-heels into programming, and I met many people through the Wikia that I'm still very close with.
I remember when I first logged into SmileBASIC Source. I found it so cool, even though it was missing many features that we take for granted today, like SiteJS/CSS and proper documentation for the BBCode available. I spent so much time in chat. Hell, I've known some people on here since before I met my current IRL friends.
But that's not the point of this post.
Almost 3 weeks ago, Random asked me to make the new frontend for the new version of SmileBASIC Source. I was super excited, and couldn't wait to start working on it.
I've spent countless nights staying up until 5 AM, just working on the new site. But of course, it's not as far along as I had hoped. I'm thankfully still employed during this pandemic, as I work in a grocery store. And when I'm not working, Random and I are still spending a large part of our day just working on the site. In fact, Random just went to sleep as I'm writing this post, after a quick session of trying to fight with iOS :)
I'm really happy that people have been reporting bugs, and that people are still using the site. Especially in the last couple of days, I was rushing out features so things would work, and I also spent the time learning how to write single-page applications to make the side navigation feel as smooth as possible, so some early stuff isn't very well implemented either. I'm hoping to fix everything in the coming weeks.
I've had a lot of complaints about different pieces of the puzzle that are missing or in the wrong place, but I'm working to make this site easy to use and to make the transition as smooth as possible. It's certainly different from the site we're all used to, but I'm hoping that you'll agree with me: In the end, it will have been for the better.
Please have faith in us. We're working our hardest to give you guys something better, just like how SBS gave me something better than Wikia. Hold out for a little while longer.
Thank you.
