ShadowCoins
Hello everyone! ShadowCX11, myself, and the ShadowTech team are proud to announce the *coming soon* ShadowCoins! It was originally SourceCoins. ShadowCoins is a cryptocurrency on the 3DS, and the 3DS acts as your mobile wallet. You can transfer them on the 3DS via local wireless, or by using a generated key powered by RICE5_LIB encryption and decryption system! We are making a website where you can transfer your ShadowCoins on your 3DS into your online account! You can even download ShadowCoins from your online account back to your 3DS, if you want to have them without an internet connection! We're still working on authentication for the online extension, but for right now, ShadowCoins is expected to be released sometime in early 2016. If you have any questions, concerns, or just comments feel free to post your opinion
This seems a bit easy to counterfeit on the 3DSThat's why we'll be using a internet-based backend
This seems a bit easy to counterfeit on the 3DSWell all these things are subject to change, whether for security or anything else. This is going to be used all server side, the 3DS is just the mobile wallet. ShadowCoins can only be used online in your account. If suspicious activity goes on, we will be notified and freeze the account and whatever they've purchased. Nothing is perfect, but we're still trying :P
What can ShadowCoins purchase anyway? And I think it would be better for it to just be on the computer, and everything on the 3DS is just for show, nothing you can do on the 3DS can be redeemed (IDK if that's already your plan though).Well, the 3DS is just a wallet. Easy transportation to another person without the use of Internet connection. But when it's uploaded, the coins will be verified.

And I think it would be better for it to just be on the computer, and everything on the 3DS is just for show, nothing you can do on the 3DS can be redeemed (IDK if that's already your plan though). Our plan is to be able to make an online store for SB and then be able to download software that way. That's a good idea about PC only, but that would close up a lot of API opportunities.
I guess I have no reason to contradict your plans if you guys seem to have a pretty good plans. Good luck with your endeavours.Thank you.
Why would you even make an online store anyway? It's all free, and I hate having to pay for game that are supposed to be free. You wouldn't need to buy it, but you could maybe get extras
Like downloadable content of games like Call of Duty?Yeah, kinda like that. You'd get maybe in-game currency. But first, we need a cryptographer xD
You'd need to a pretty complicated code so it could be secure!Yeah, we were thinking of using RICE5, but that's not gonna be secure enough
Wait so...this for SB or PC?
Wait so...this for SB or PC?Both. We have 2 people working on the SB part, and I'll be working on the web part (once we get a good enough cryptographer)
Okie
So eshop for SB
