can you give me this picture please? and Nathaniel your picture looks great.
Also, you won't be able to upload that photo to SmileBASIC's servers as it contains sprites from Pokรฉmon. So if you use PetitModem to send it to your 3DS, you'll only be able to use it for your personal use (unless you send it and any other files for a game you made with the image back to your computer using PetitModem, then give a download link for the files of the game).

If you need to transfer other pictures to SmileBASIC, an easy way to do so is using PetitModem. It's a bit slow, but it gets the job done nonetheless. I'd also recommend using a splitter to fix background noise issues.
What materials will I need to use the application?

How do I set up the slitter with the cheap audio cables?

Just plug them into the splitter, and then on the computer reverse the order the cables are in. The order should be the headphone port to the microphone port and vise versa for the other cable.

Thanks I got the program to work but my mom says it is annoying so I will try in the morning but what is wrong with the background didnt work

I presume so. As long as it's an aux cable. Also, you should get a splitter like this: https://www.amazon.com/Extrasensory-Devices-ESDHW011-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B006T65CXE. The basic setup is just two aux cables and a splitter (or two if your computer doesn't have a seperate headphone and microphone jack but has a combo audio jack for both).

Thanks for the help! I'll order the items tomorrow.

Your welcome! Trust me, PetitModem may be slow, but it comes in very handy. I'm using it for making a background for my game.

If you can access homebrew, you should get SBFM (SmileBASIC File Manager) I use it to import some images..

Geez, that's easily $40.00 cash right there. Harsh.

Nah, I'm too lazy to do homebrew. Plus, I still want to get updates and not be hunted down by Nintendo so they can release an update that will brick my device (I know I can avoid updates, but bugs).

Well, only if you need two splitters. One splitter is needed for the 3DS, but your computer should have one headphone port and one microphone port. Sometimes, computers may have one audio jack instead of two, and this probably means it contains a combo audio jack (a headphone and microphone port in one, like the 3DS). Rarely, newer computers will only have a headphone jack, so you should check your computer model to see what type of jack(s) you have.

Actually, more like 25$. I found a cheap splitter for 7$: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Headsets-Separate-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B00Y458NA6 And I also have a job so i'ts fairly easy for me to make money.

Cool! I just recommended the red one because it was the most popular among PetitModem users, but whatever works.

If you are importing from PNG to GRP you must pass it through SmileBASIC Tools

I have CFW in 11.3 and I don't have any issues

Not really. You can just use the compresser tool (LZSS) found in the same folder PetitModem is in and send it via PetitModem. Once on the 3DS, you can convert the compressed file into a GRP.
