I personally haven’t homebrewed my 3DS, but I decided to make a poll thread anyway. Have you every homebrewed your 3DS, or did you decide against it? If so, what methods did you use to homebrew your 3DS? If not, why did you decide against it?
I’ll start:
I haven’t homebrewed my 3DS, nor am I planning to. I’d rather just keep everything simple and vanilla for now. I also don’t want to get homebrew because my 3DS might be targeted for doing so (such as if Nintendo makes another banwave), and I might brick my 3DS if I do something wrong when using homebrew.
Have you ever homebrewed your 3DS? How?

*foolproofI'm not scared about bricking my 3ds by doing something dumb. More like I'm scared that I'll get banned in a banwave. :PThere are ways to protect against banwaves. However, none of them are full-proof.
I tried homebrew around two years ago and messed around with some homebrew games, but only installed CFW around when soundhax was released.
The only 'problem' from my experience was focusing on C more than SmileBASIC, and my endless struggle with failing to finish projects in even more languages.
At the same time 3DS homebrew/hacking is probably the only reason I understand how to use file browsers at all today.
Timeline
2~ years ago: Homebrew is great, CFW seems too risky with no benefit for me. (All that emuNAND stuff confused me so much) 1~ year ago: A9LH? Soundhax? 2.1 downgrade? Probably worth it, might want it later. Now: B9S and Luma CFW, attempting to write some simple games in C. Regularly playing CTGP7 with friends and sometimes messing with Pokémon romhacks and save edits. Also, TWLoader!Do I need menuhax files on my SD card? EDIT: Also sorry for so many questions :( I am not very experienced with this sort of thing EDIT 2: Am I supposed to put all of the files in the starter kit onto the SD?I had no idea what I was doing two years ago. :Dhttps://smilebasicsource.com/forum?ftid=303&page=3
