I just tried to come on chat, and it wouldn't connect. It's certainly down, because pinging the chat server fails and chatauth gives a false result. What happened this time?

I've been talking to Perska on dev chat, and there is no idea what's happened. Apparently it just kicked everyone off. Someone should contact Le Randomous Crap.

Sorry, it's back. Also, I just made it so that if the server ever stops for any reason, it just restarts.
The server crash was entirely not my fault it seems. It crashed in managed C# code that I have no control over, and I can't even catch the exception for some reason. I looked it up, and apparently there's a recent bug in Mono networking code that causes this (Mono is the thing that runs the server, basically) . Hopefully it doesn't happen too often, but when it does, the server should at least reset itself. I'll update Mono as soon as they fix it (hopefully they will soon).
