Arena Champions.

I've been working on this game thing for a while. It's a game about traveling to different arenas and battling opponents to level up! Instead of a select area menu thing, I want a map to travel around and such. Like an RPG type thing. _{^{I don't know how to do that...}} Is there any programs or resources that you would recommend to make this easier on me?
