They're not supported, and it would be VERY hard to do. So uhhhhh, not right now, sorry. Our resizing algorithm probably doesn't work with gifs. You can try it, but don't expect it to work lol.

Animated gifs are extremely irritating and distracting. Not to mention a bandwidth hog. Please keep them away.

The same can be said of the current images. The little square beside your post is about 19900 bytes, whereas your comment is 110. Does a small funny picture contain the worth of 180 of your comments?
