Using EXEC to run files in other folders

I noticed I can use EXEC on programs in the current project folder and ones in the "SYS/ " folder but I get an illegal call if I try to access other folders. Am I doing it wrong or is this not supported?

You can only do that if the program runs via smile button.

Ah, I see, thank you! This works out as I was trying to put my extra tools in a quick menu and the smile button works well for this.
