Well, we wouldn't allow...
So, there are things you won't allow, but you're not going to test for those things. How would that work?

Who said we won't test? We will take the program, and we will give them an API key if it's okay, else we won't allow it.

Would the API key have to be renewed every program update? If not, sneaky developers could make a program which gets accepted and then give users millions of shadowcoins (or whatever) in an update after it gets accepted.

Yes it would. We wouldn't allow API access until the software's checked

But what if the sneaky hackers (heh, yours truly) copy the API code and put it in their own game?

You need a specific API, you can't just make it. And the programmers that get the API will not be allowed to distribute it, or their key will be terminated.

I call hax. Anyway,

You did.
So, for every game that uses ShadowCoins, it must first be sent to you for playtesting so that you can determine what is an appropriate number of coins to be earned from each task, and what is an appropriate number of coins to price each item?
No
Which is it?

Oh shit, sorry. It's the latest one: We're going to test

Instead of talking about it, why don't you guys just keep working on it...

We are, we're just trying to be helpful in responding to questions/concerns

We're going to test
So if, for the gameplay I wish to have in my first game, it takes the equivalent of killing 1000 slimes to earn enough for a doomsday weapon, and for the gameplay I wish to have in my second game, it takes the equivalent of killing 50 slimes to earn enough for a doomsday weapon, then you will reject at least one of them? What if it's 980 slimes?

Simply put: if you earn them, ShadowCoins has nothing to do with the equation.

Or do you mean earn ShadowCoins? Sorry, if that's the case in one game ShadowCoins would be worth ---LESS---- in that paticular game. Right now it's pretty complicated, but we will clear it up as time goes on.

Same with the 50 slime, maybe you earn the same.

So you're just hoping the game developers all come up with and use the same measure, and you won't be able to judge it?

in one game ShadowCoins would be worth ---LESS---- in that paticular game.
Which one? And, do you see that as a problem?

And no :) should be fine as we move along and are better prepared for it.

For the time being I would not mind that at all :) remember, this isn't fully made yet so I don't know how every single detail of everything will work. But hopefully the measure will be the same. And if you so happen to have a game that gives you tons of ShadowCoins, maybe they could be drawn out in a... compressed matter. Not actual compression, I mean if the game is super good but doesn't fit the standards exactly, we could compromise so if you put them into your wallet they reduce, or you do a "game tax" sort of thing.
