You should have to prove you own SB before using it. Each time, before running code, it'll give you a key that you have to download and run (on your 3DS) which will then give you a password you can enter to get access to the SB interpreter.

I don’t think owning SB would be need for an interpreter. Unless the complete 3DS version of SB would be included in the interpreter, I think that an SB interpreter built completely from scratch shouldn’t have any legal problems.

There isn't really a point to including an interpreter for demonstrative purposes if it's purposefully incomplete by design. Then it's a question of what limited feature set you provide. Weirdly, 12Me's half-idea of a key generator for code blocks is actually not terrible. Someone's reverse engineered how to make requests to the cloud server at some point, so it's theoretically possible to generate temporary keys on demand? EDIT: It occurred to me that the key review process would make key generation take 5 minutes or more.

Oh, it was just a joke lol (forcing you to use real SB in order to use the online interpreter, making it pointless) (Also, it usually only takes a few seconds to generate a key)

I feel that the idea of a key being generated for using the interpreter could actually be used for the generated key containing the code in question, and then it could be run in SB.

yeah this was exactly my interpretation of the concept. actually making it happen is difficult and unlikely though

Hey I have an idea (if it's not already a thing) how about we were able to customize the colors of the code feature like in SB or something like that.
#Custom @colors
I like Color

Hmm although it would be better for example if I could see a
#Label
as pink if I had it put in settings as pink but if someone put labels on green then they see the label as green so that I see pink and the other sees green so it won't confuse people if one post has blue labels and the other has them yellow . What I'm trying to say is make It person specific. (I'm pretty bad at explaining:( )

You could have a weekly key

too late but it would be nice if we could somehow watch the contest submission form additionally use the form for more than *sp contests
