Yes, it is. I think the best one of this kind of this generation is "Lifeline" on iPhone.

You have inspired me to start a text adventure as well. It is roughly 30% written. I gotta get a cable so I can do the petite modem trick and code it on my pc instead of typing on the touchscreen. This is tedious work lol.
