(Creator: Villit. Translator: LohadL.) Releasing a new game from the land of the rising sun - Escape the Office! If you've never heard of the "escape the room" genre, basically you're locked inside a room/building, and you have to collect clues, solve puzzles, and use items to escape. Why not try this out as your first experience in this genre? Who knows, you may get addicted to it! This game starts with a tutorial on the basic controls. Then it's up to you to investigate and find clues like this screenshot, and figure out what it means. Sometimes you have to crack a code too. Can you make it to the exit?

Instructions:

There's a tutorial in game that teaches you the controls. This game has a save feature, a flag or "marking" feature, item descriptions, and shows you the map. Note that even the descriptions and the map itself may be valuable clues.

Notes:

I'm SO close to beating the last puzzle (well, maybe, IDK) I'm sure I could solve it if I spent enough time and effort...

As I posted here before, that final image makes no sense at all. It's pretty much impossible to figure out what to do. If the clue has to represent rooms then it should be multiple images instead, one for each room, presented in a way that we can actually tell it's supposed to represent a room.

I think this game is unbeatable without cheating, but it's still better than average!
To be honest, I haven't found the solution to the last puzzle yet. However, I think it was easy to understand that
Spoilerthe clues had something to do with the item locations.
The only problem is that I don't understand how I'm supposed to
Spoilerchoose the numbers. The clue in the upper-left corner of the screen is especially confusing: is it telling me to sort the numbers in that order or is it just another clue related to the item locations? The problem isn't that we can't find out what we are supposed to do with the clues. The problem is that the clues themselves are difficult to solve.
I am not sure how you could make this easier, but I definitely liked this game and I hope you will find out how to improve the last puzzle.

Add more images... I'll play around with that idea with Villit. Maybe instead of just one black memo with all the images jumbled together, we'll do 7 pieces of memo scattered around the room, one image each! Sounds like a great idea, thank you.

Man, the last puzzle was difficult, but I managed to figure it out! I think, maybe, if you want to make it easier, you should create a clever hint that explains
Spoilerhow the items on the touch screen correspond to the panel on the top left corner of the memo. Perhaps it should say something along the lines of "in order to solve this one, you're going to need to have a special touch." Either that, or point out that the item box on the touch screen and the top left corner of the memo are both red. "This final puzzle was so hard, it will make your face red!" Also, be sure to keep the "Look Back To Your Journey." It was kind of cool how I had to remember the exact spots that those items were at!
Let me know if you had a different line of thinking! I'd love to help out. Also, thanks for translating this! It was a ton of fun to figure out!

Oh, and I did beat this without cheating. Tons of fun. Just thought you should know. c: I love riddles and such. For example, "What can fly around the world but stay in the corner?"
SpoilerA stamp!
Also, I'm extremely tempted to explain how I got the final puzzle since it seems like I was one of the few who was able to finish the game without cheating, haha... (^^; )

I've been playing this for a while, but I got stuck by the puzzle with the ???????1???... Any tips?

Does the pattern of question marks look familiar? Maybe you've seen a note somewhere else?
More spoilers alertGuess what my favorite number is. Using your username, it's ????4?1253.

In the room with the note that has the hint "WHERE YOU LOOK DOES MATTER", I don't seem to understand the hint. There are 3 other doors in the room, and they are locked. What is the passcode for all of them?

In the room with the note that has the hint "WHERE YOU LOOK DOES MATTER" what is the code because it only makes sense upside down so I do and it looks like a 9 two dots 11 and a rectangle so what is it?
