SmileBASIC font

I was making an imitation of the SmileBASIC logo for a title screen of my first game, and decided I should make a font to share with everyone! Included are: Logo letters (Capital only) Copyright letters (Alphanumeric) Alternative Choices Some of the letters were impossible to create nicely, so I labelled them all with underlines as a sort of guide to using them. The key is on the bottom right. Ripped from SmileBASIC logo: Snipped from the official logo and patched up to be individual letters Based on PTC logo: Based on the Petit Computer logo, but in the SmileBASIC style. Imitation (good): When used in conjunction with the originals, these should look great Imitation (poor): These don't look nice when next to every character, or they didn't come out good. Imitation (weird): I had to take creative liberties to get these letters to work, so they don't always follow the "rules" that the other letters follow. If you want to credit my font when you use it, my Nintendo Network ID is "JustGreat" INSTRUCTIONS: The outside borders of the LOGO letters overlap, and are connected in a special way (see example) The COPYRIGHT letters have 1 pixel gaps between them, and their border is exactly like the individual letters, just combined. The space between words formed by this font can be seen in the examples Both fonts have a semi-transparent shadow that is offest 2 pixels down, and 2 pixels to the right. I took it into photoshop. Here are my results Black at 48% opacity recreates the shadow effect on the off-white part of the title screen Black at 47% opacity recreates the shadow effect on the grey grid that of the title screen Use whichever percentage you want, or even 47.5 (will that even work in SmileBASIC though?) If I for some reason decide to make your job any easier at my expense, a download key so you can get the file directly from miiverse will be put right here: As suggested by 12Me21, a fonstruct download is now available: http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/download/1228309 Keep in mind that there may be 1 or 2 minor mistakes since I didn't look over it very extensively after making it. However, I did make sure they were all the correct widths. A few days ago, I realized that this font is virtually the same as many other generic "space age"-esque fonts, so I don't plan to ever work on it again. Anything here should be final.

I have never used fonstruct before. Can I select different colors, or if I'm limited to just black and transparency? I assume it is the latter, in which case I don't think this font can be recreated in fonstruct

Only black and transparency. You don't need any other colors, though, since fontstruct has curved pieces that would work perfectly.

I can recreate the inner blackness of the font, but the white outlines will have to be left out.

How do you use these in your program? Is this FONTDEF or are these sprites or what?

This was just a neat recreation font that I made for the purpose of making SmileBASIC themed logos for games. The game I made it for is long cancelled, but when I first made this, I thought it would be a good idea to post it here. Just think of this resource as a remnant of my early SBS days.

Pretty Cool! Imma gonna use for my twitter Page
