hello we are developing a new text-based rpg and will update you guys on this thread about the development and whoever wants to be a tester you are welcome to join us and test it out and if you become a tester then you get a database full of keys for smilebasic :O -------------- NOTE -------------- this will cost money but we are putting out a demo the demo will come out first before it ever gets released but! if you preorder before the end of summer you will get a limted edition copy will spoil it only to buyers "shhhhhh" and finally a database full of keys for smilebasic :O

Okay, so first of all, run on sentences to a minimum, please. It's hard to understand what you're talking about with no periods. Second, if you are making this in SmileBASIC, you cannot sell your programs. It's against the rules of the server, and everything you upload ends up being open source. Thirdly, this place (SmileBASIC Source) IS a database full of keys. This is the whole point of the site: to share programs and keys to other people so they can see your creations. Finally, you're untrustworthy. You're saying that people will pay for this, but how? Are you going to scam us? You just come on here and start staying stuff like this, without actually doing something first. You have nothing to show us, no material. How would we know what you're making isn't just going to be a troll, and we'll end up having paid money for something useless?

Just like we said in the chat, you can't go ahead and sell public keys. Nobody is interested in games that cost money. People who use SmileBASIC don't want to pay for any programs made by users. In fact, they already paid for SmileBASIC itself. If you really want to sell games, then create your game using something like Game Maker. Then you can sell it on Steam for example.

You legally aren't allowed to put keys up for money. Making people pay extra for a SB program is illegal.

Also "piracy." It's a public key. Unless you are just putting it up for the one person to download the key will be somewhere you "dont" want it within 5 minutes. Imagine the clusterschmuk of trying to put the key up and take it down for every purchase.

Generally people test their programs themselves and if users find any problems they'll report it. There's really no reason to recruit testers, and I'm not sure what you could possibly offer as far as keys go. Public Keys, by definition, aren't secret; if they are, you don't have them.

All SmileBASIC programs are open source, you can't stop anyone from redistributing your work and therefore it doesn't make sense to charge for it. Even if you went ahead with that, no one wants to pay for a SmileBASIC program, and certainly not from someone we've never heard of and has no to show so far.

Ummm... when you upload things on SmileBASIC, you cannot redistribute them for cost, that'd be illegal. You disgust me, redistributing SmileBASIC software for money

Explain this statement please. If you sold your millions, why wouldn't we hear about it in the news? Also, no house, no WiFi. You can't say you're using "free" WiFi, because technically that's illegal unless you pay for something instore or in restaurant, and since you supposedly don't even have a house, how are you going to pay for using the WiFi?
