Making a PTC Compiler

PTC was the best DSi game. Once you play SB, it's hard to go back, however, since SB has so many improvements.

Are we taking DSi to mean only DSiWare? Technically, PTC isn't even a game...

Ahh, I see. I always wanted to pick up ptc but I saw the dsi tag and figured eventually there would be a new release. Luckily my patience paid off but it sounds like I missed out on some really good games. I may have to pick it up to play some of them. Thanks for clarifying. Game/program, it's not like we are talking to new people. We all know what we mean.

PTC is no longer available for purchase (due to an expired licence with the publisher). This is one of the reasons why making a compiler for it in SB is a good idea, among others.

dear lord you dont know a majority of the SB audience. alot of really great games were on there. including a megaman remake

Why do some people seem to have a hate on for petit? Was it that bad? Or do they just want people to adopt to sb?

Whoa whoa whoa. I never said i hated Petit, Petit got me into programming with smilebasic, and it was a great application. I think that SB is much more than PTC and is a great successor to it.

I didn't mean to imply that you were the only person with a hate on for it. I've seen on other sites that some people jumped ship to sb so fast it capsized the ptc boat. :p I just noticed that there was a trend is all and I never got a chance to play with ptc

I liked PTC at the time, but SB came out and I realized all the issues it had. I assume many people had a similar experience.
