SmileBYTES official thread

Hey guys, ShadowCX11 and I are excited to anounce SmileBYTES. SmileBYTES is a virtual machine for SmileBASIC. It uses a special kind of machine language called SmileASM. We can do some cool low-level stuff with it. But since we're using virtual memory, a virtual screen, and a virtual assembly language, everything would have to be rewritten for it. So we're asking you guys to help us give this project shape. Here are some specs: 256 opcodes Memory: 1 MiB Screen res: 240x144; 30x18 6x8 text characters. I actually had an idea of making a bytecode whatever of some sort, but I never got to do it since I had other stuff in the way. Also I happened to have an idea of a "file disk". But whatever about that. This looks rather interesting, tbh!

I also had an idea of a virtual file system. I even had a beta of some sort working, but I never got the chance to really get it working nice.

Dang, I had an idea to try and make something like this last night, you guys beat me to it by twelve hours. Mine probably would die anyways though so it's probably better XD. If I can help I'd like to, sounds like a neat project.
