Hey. I don't know why I'm making a new thread for this, but I really truly want to know the answer to this question: Is It possible to make 3rd Person Games ? Yea, I know you could slap on a sprite of the back/side of a character, but I'm talking moveable camera, 3D game. Because if the answer is yes, Well let's just say I'm gonna spend my life in my room, on a 3DS.

Technically yes, practically no. - Tom Scott You could, but it would be a VERY slow game, as smilebasic has limited power, and(without dlc) does not allow for calculations on the graphics card to speed up the rendering for 3d.

no

There are 3d engines on smileBasic, so the technically yes practically no still stands.

Have a look at https://smilebasicsource.com/page?pid=1297 This shows, that is possible to create a mini-game that looks like 3rd-Person-View (famicom/NES style). Ther are also engins like https://smilebasicsource.com/page?pid=1053 But both isn't easy to create (and use).

I mean, that does look good. Maybe slapping a sprite in the middle of the screen is better than I thought. XD Well actually I can't tell whether it's a 3D model with sprites slammed on it or just a good looking sprite. i thought i could make a 3rd person 3D platformer boy.
