Programming Strength Second Year My account is over 2 years old Website Star Wars Is Awesome! I love Star Wars! Express Yourself Age: 200,017 Experience: I'd say around 7 years, but professional languages is around 4. Languages: - French master of all languages that i cant speak - C# (quite a bit, master language) - Java (a lot, love-hate) - Javascript (a bit, meh) - Lua (a bit, should burn in hell) - HTML (a bit, dont know why i know this one cuz its trash) - Petit Computer (a bit, trash) - SmileBASIC (a bit, also trash) - Python (a bit, decent) - Q# (a bit) I got into programming through my dad, who wrote a software that runs his entire automotive business from scratch in C#. It's just over a decade old now. Once I'm a real adult, I'm going to be a game designer with a computer science associates so none of y'all can beat me to valve/nintendo bb. ILL MAKE ONE OF THESE THINGYS. Age: 15.52193 Experience : I believe around one year and 5 months..? Languages: English, French (but not super fluent), SmileBasic stuffs (pretty fluent, but random stuff gives me hardships sometimes), JAVA (but not much..), PYTHON (im learning this currently and have a 3982 page book im reading on it) and finally: BETAS. Hobbies: Programming and making random nothingness on SB, Riding my bike (I legit have been riding it for about a year with a tire that has a hole in it, you can actually put your ear up to the tire and hear air blowing out. needless to say i bring a mini bike pump on bike rides (its about the size of the palm of my hand, I made it myself :) )), Talking, Helping, Being *mostly* nice, Helping others and finally eating cake.     1. fragments of Lua
    2. fragments of batch
    3. fragments of vbs
    4. fragments of just about all of it give me a couple of files with the code leave me a couple hours I will start to make sense of it my self.
    5. I have hand coded various cahoot spammers including one that puts bots in that all to gather read the whole fitnessgram pacer test copypasta
    6. completly self tought (when i can, school gets pretty insane)

    I heard of it a few months ago when it was in development, but I haven;t been on ticalc.org very often. I would be very interested in learning it, however, as I am currently struggling to understand how to do even basic things with Axe Parser P.S: sorry for the late response, I have been working on an expert engine in smilebasic to enter in a competition.

    Age: 16 Experience: 7 years, getting kinda close to mastery in JavaScript Languages I've used before:
    1. JavaScript: By far my favorite programming language, especially Node.js. I think I'm pretty good at JS especially.
    2. SQL: My experience with this is pretty okay, but I wouldn't call myself a good schema writer.
    3. SMILEBASIC 1x: I'm not the greatest, but I'm okay.
    4. VB.NET: My LEAST favorite .NET language.
    5. C#: My favorite .NET language. Takes a while to get used to, but after a while, it gets dead simple.
    6. FreeBASIC: I'm getting better, and I'm really liking this as an alternative to C.
    7. C: How couldn't I have used C? It's a good language!
    8. C++: Not fun.
    9. Yabasic: This is okay for simple stuff if you're good with PTC/SB, but I won't call this the most amazing thing in the world.
    10. Brainfuck: I think this is my favorite esolang. I've written a few interpreters and compilers for it in JS, it's really nice.
    11. PHP: I've written a few small things in PHP, but I don't like it that much.
    12. Bash: I use this pretty much every day. It's kind of important when you're using Linux...
    13. Lua: I hate Lua.
    14. Python: Yet another language I should practice. I kind of like how it forces you to be neat.
    15. Processing.JS: I think this counts as a separate language. It's a lot more complicated then JavaScript itself.
    16. Game Boy Assembly: I have almost no experience with this, and I don't want to have any more with it.
    ... Yeah, I've wasted a lot of free time... DISCLAIMER: I'm not trying to show off. I'm simply listing the programming languages I've used before. If I wanted to list the languages I can write good software in, that list shrinks quickly.
    Isn't "Gameboy assembly" really just Z80 assembly?

    Isn't "Gameboy assembly" really just Z80 assembly?
    It uses a slightly different processor and there's also stuff like input/output and graphics to deal with.

    >only have access to BASIC If you have computers at school, you could learn programming on the web through Khan Academy/Codeacademy. If you have a n3DS, you could even probably do some sandboxing through a free web ftp/host client (like webhost000). If you have CFW, you can install LovePotion (a ported lua game framework) and write programs with a text editor. If you have a computer at home, then you are lazy for not taking advantage of it. I assume you don't qualify for the bottom 3, but there is a huge world out there. Borrow a computer. Mow someone's lawn for a quick Pi to play with. If you are crippled, stuck in a hospital bed, and only have a 3DS with SB, then you could also stay with that. :D Don't feel insecure because atm959 works with machine code. He's insane.

    Its good. If you are needing help with Axe Parser, or any other calculator problem I would recommend http://www.cemetech.net (Personally, I have an account here and think it is one of the better calculator forums), http://www.omnimaga.org, or http://tiplanet.org (This is a french website so...)
