XSCREEN 4 allowed in direct mode

Normally you can't change XSCREEN to 4 in direct mode, but if a program ends while still in that mode, it stays. This causes the help menu to be displayed off center since it's displayed 40 pixels from the left edge of the screen but extends all the way to the right edge.
