Would anyone enjoy an Amiibo Simulator?

How exactly is the amiibo thing going to work? You can't scan or use the camera on a 3DS (although you probably wouldn't be 3D printing anyway.)

Maybe you could use a DAT file? And enter a key or the name or something to access the DATa?

Mega Man would be based from

LOL WHAT THE Hey guys, today I finished implementing the character design for one character. Here's a juicy screenshot to build your impatience. The moving and jumping physics are already done, now all I have to do is an enemy learning from your moves. EDIT: and attacks. Yeah, they're done, too. At this point, I can promise a public version for this weekend.
Multiplayer?

Oh, of course we're not going to use real amiibo. We're going to make our own kind of "amiibo". They'll probably be a DAT file. So I got another idea today, but it might not be as popular as the other ideas. My thought was, "Competitive players will eventually hack into the game so they can have a perfect amiboo. How can I fix that?" The answer is simple: Competitive Mode. (How should we call it?) In this mode, the player has to program the fighter all by themselves! It would be very similar to Robocode: the player programs his or her own fighter to make the right choices in different situations. It would be a lot of fun, but people with poor programming skills may not enjoy it as much. What do you all think?

As long as you can make the coding relatively easy to understand I don't see a problem with it. You could run two separate divisions for a "competetive" amiiboo and non-competetive. And then make the winners fight!

My AI would totally win lol It used to threaten to kill me every time I said HI now I don't do that anymore..

Time for a silly Drawing Contest! I want you to draw Sonic's omega stage, Green Hill Zone, from Super Smash Bros. 3DS. The winner will have their stage added to the game as an official stage! I will choose the worse drawing. By that, I mean I want your stage to look so bad we'd think a child drew it. Remember, we're actually using Sanic and not Sonic. (And please make it 400x240 so I won't have to resize it) Good luck and have fun ;) Thanks Lummy <3

yey

oops i thought these threads were closed before i realized i wasn't logged in ovo; anyway, do you think that you could make a screen where you have your amiboo on a table and put it on a scanner like an amiibo irl? because i think that feeling should be kept in there

I'd feel bad not to answer you right now, so I'll simply say yes. ;)

What would be hardcore is if you made Amiboos that you put on your 3DS screen and it has a camera in the bottom, so once it sees the code or whatever on the screen it makes noises that your 3DS recognizes as a certain Amiboo(kinda like Petit Modem).

kek you may be going a bit too hardcore maybe :P

Could some admin change the name of this to "Amiboo Simulator"? The whole game has been pretty much decided.

I think it's fine. The other thread had outlived its original purpose, this one still sort of makes sense when searching.
